According to Yogananda's teachings, a jivan-mukta is one who is liberated from physical rebirth (if he so chooses) in that life. One who is a Siddha is liberated from all bodies; physical, astral and causal, and one who is an Avatara is a Siddha returned for the good of mankind. I dont know what definition of Avatara you are subscribed to, but it is not one taught by Yogananda.
