"Cows....In....Space...."

I liked it. Swordfights and spacecows in same the episode. What is -not- to like? When I saw the lights around the door my comment was "Do you suppose that is Kaylee's room" and of course it was. I liked Jayne. (I suspect I will eventually form the one woman Jayne cheering section)

Maybe Rob and I saw a different version? (evil grin)

On a more serious note, I thought the episode said a lot about certain aspects of slavery. Did Atherton think he 'owned' Inara because he was accustomed to buying and owning people or is it just a character flaw?

As for 'John Doe' I thought the episode was a little weaker than past ones but I also felt it was all about who John is, not who Karen was. Every piece of information about her past we see through his eyes. How he reacts tells us more and more about the kind of man he is. This episode is not about John at all but at the same time it is more about him than any of the others.
