Totally conceding your point about smells. We never used silage, so I'll have to take your word for it.

I did, however, come up with an explanation or two about the post hole digger. It could have been a second-hand one. Or, and I'll admit this is stretching a bit, those particular implements could have been in the store for the communal use of the townsfolk.

I'll stop now before I explain myself into a corner.
