I in full agreement here. If Firefly survives its first season, it will be in spite of FOX. First, they condemn it with a weak timeslot. Second, the shuffle the episode order, because they think they know us better than Joss does. Third, they preempt it twice in the first five weeks. I always known that if a network hates a show enough, they can find a way to kill it.

Considering that the LA and NY markets are the largest, last week's unscheduled preemption must have significantly damaged the ratings. Unlike the NY station, the LA station did not move Firefly to Sunday evening. They merely delayed it till 11pm that Friday night with no announcement. It was through a major act of luck that I found out in time to watch it.

Do we have any reason to believe that they will stop shuffling the episode order, once the story arc commences? Hell no! These guys have absolutely ZERO loyalty to the view public. I am ranting? You bet!
