I have had 1Irons for 1 1/2 years and still love them. I would not switch back for any reason that I can see. I hit my driver about 260-270, but still struggle with consistency (not a 1Iron driver), so about 5-8 holes a round I use my 3 iron off the tee. I hit it about 210-215 off the grass, but with it slightly teed up I consistently hit it 220, and most importantly - I know where it is going. So on tight holes, or shorter par 4's I use the 3 iron as a driving iron and love it.
