Subject: So, how's

everbody doing? I'm tired of the wind..... It started in late February, and hasn't let up since. I mean, 30 mph gust and higher, most days. Though, we have received some good rains, much needed in this area, from the systems coming through. We even had a frost this morning. I've got 16 cabbage plants in the garden, but, I have held off planting anything else. Last year, I planted early, had tomatoes in bloom, and the last frost of the year got them. I'm finally getting eggs. Even though I have to keep my birds penned, (because of hawks), my eggs are tastier than those purchased in the store. Wonder why? I use a bagger on my mower when I mow around the house and give the clippings to the chickens, maybe that's why the eggs are better. I hear that ticks are out already. The dogs got new flea and tick collars the other day. Soon I'll stop by the Vet's and pick up some Frontline. Around here it takes both repellents to keep the little varmints off. I use the tick repellent on my shoes and pants legs also, spraying all the way up to my waist.
QWell, ya'll have a great Easter.........
