We haven't had an extra moment for anything.

Ed's been building raised crosstie beds for gardening. We've had dirt hauled in to fill the beds with. It's been very time consuming, but it will be something we'll enjoy. He's complaining about being the last person in the county to plant tomatoes. I keep telling him that it's OK. He doesn't have to be the first to have fried green tomatoes every year.

Matt broke the growth plate in his elbow, so he spent most of last week with us. It was his spring break and he'd have been here anyway. We had to play quietly instead of rough housing it like he's prone to do. He did pretty well. I only caught him rolling down the hill in my wagon a half dozen times or so... I was afraid he was gonna break something else.

Will was on spring break this week so he and Sherry have been here a few days. He still can't put his weight on his legs more than just a very few minutes at the time. He doesn't let the wheelchair slow him down.

I'm gonna get a couple of chicks as soon as I can get to the feed and seed. The plan has been to get a couple of white Silkies, but I've about changed my mind. I'm thinking a couple of nice standards. Maybe RIRs or Buff Orps. We'll see. I've got chick fever bad... real bad...
