Subject: We should...

...rename this board, the "Cari, Mikey, and Chickie Show!" LOL They are the only names I see on here. Well, ok, Stacy made a showing back in Feb, and Critter in Jan... where is everyone??? Life is that busy, huh? Weeeell... ok, I guess.

I just had an email yesterday from a "neighbor" who lives, apparently, just around the corner from me. She found my website (cool!) and wanted to know if it's ok to keep a chicken in town. She wanted to get one for her daughter in 4-H. Sadly, I had to tell her that chickens are not legal to keep within town limits. Perhaps I should have told her that they could move to NYC, where it's ok to keep one! Crazy, huh? One can keep a fowl in NYC, one of the heaviest populated cities, but not here in my town, which is/was bordered by rural areas and farms. (All the farms are now vacant and being sold to developers, and all the zoning has now changed, which all sucks!)

But anyway, it was neat to know someone in the area is interested in chickens, too. :)
