Subject: Sort of a sad day...

Due to our moving, we had to make some tough decisions regarding our birds. Tonight, my 3 Call drakes went to a new home. They should be really happy at their new home, though. It's in a nearby town, and they'll have 4 Call duck girlfriends! So I'm happy for them. Maybe, someday, when we have our own place in the country, we can have some Call ducks again. I'll miss those li'l guys.

Also, we found someone who might be able to give our Serama pair a new home. It'll be really hard to keep them at the new place what with space being so limited. I'll miss them a lot, too.

We found a home already for one of our 4 extra Ringneck male doves. That leaves 3 still needing homes. Unfortunately, with the heat & humidity, I can't ship. So it has to be fairly local.

One week left here in our old house. Even though I've spent only about 5 yrs in this place, I'm still feeling kind of nostalgic and bittersweet about leaving here. :\
