Subject: Found homes...

It turned out that the person who might have taken the Seramas didn't really have a proper setup for them. But someone had contacted us about the 3 male doves. It turns out that he was interested in the Seramas, too! He stopped by Sunday evening to pick them all up. He was in the area to attend our local fair's opening day, and as we loaded up the birds he got from us, we saw a large fowl rooster he had bought at the fair. He also had a mini longhaired dachshund in the car and he apparently raises the occasional litter. Wish I'd known that when I was helping my Mom find a puppy! :)

So, now all our "extra" birds found new homes. I'm glad we got them rehomed before our final day here. Even so, it's sad to see them go. We'll definitely miss our little Serama roo crowing for his breakfast every morning, and his li'l lady cackling her announcement of an eggg.

I'll be glad, though, when the move is completed. Hopefully, everything and everyone will settle into the new place quickly. Not sure if we can get internet service immediately there or not, but hopefully we won't be offline for long. Keeping fingers crossed!

CB
