Hello John,

Thank you for your good wishes and kind words. Our first win has been a long time coming but it felt good when it happened. I have no doubt in my mind that we will survive in the Prem league this season and will probably end up around mid-table (we lie 9th at the moment).
We have called off our match against Ilkeston Town on Wednesday night because of international call-ups. Two of our girls (Katie Holtham and Lea Cobham) travel with the England U17 squad to France this week to play against the French U17 side in Paris on Oct 25.
Our Festival of Fireworks and Football takes place on Sun Nov 3rd when we will have all sorts of family entertainment including a huge firework display at Sincil Bank Stadium (start 4.30pm) after which we kick off against Oldham (5.30pm). The last time Lincoln City F.C. held a similar event but without football they got 7000 spectators. I hope we can do the same and that they stay and watch us beat Oldham :>). Well, that's the idea anyway. You should come along mate, it'll be a good night.
My best wishes to all my friends at Chessy please, and not withstanding last Sundays result, we look forward to playing you in the Prem next season.

Geoff.
