Your ineptitude is propounded by your ignorance! Base closings did not start the decline of the military. The Base closings shifted man power to increase availability and resources. If you will check the ACTUAL record, the base closures were meet with increased military spending and more advanced equipment that does not require greater man power but advance technology. It was Slick Willie that began the cuts in salary, man power, equipment and intelligence. You must remember those days when he proposed cutting the military, CIA and FBI, which brought about enormous debate, only to be dwarfed by John Kerry suggesting even greater cuts. If you also recall, Ted Kennedy went on record against Kerry and Clinton for the proposed cuts!

You say that you find it strange that we always find a way to blame Clinton, well, HIS record is clear! Eight years of destruction of our military and intelligence agencies does not get corrected in two years of a new administration. Our government process is far more complex than you suggest. It is impossible to correct years of problems with the pen! We do go to war with what we have, and, produce what we need. We did not get into WWII with all the equipment we needed. We did not get into Korea or Vietnam with everything we needed.

I still say that you are looking for the negative, any way to blame Bush!

Get positive and instead of pointing a finger of blame, offer a hand of help!
