YOU: "Your ineptitude is propounded by your ignorance! Base closings did not start the decline of the military. The Base closings shifted man power to increase availability and resources. If you will check the ACTUAL record, the base closures were meet with increased military spending and more advanced equipment that does not require greater man power but advance technology."

ANSWER: Why don't YOU check actual figures, pal. Beginning with Bush (41), the military has shrunk 40%...that's right, STARTING with the first Bush. Oh, and that's according to DOD figures.

YOU: "It was Slick Willie that began the cuts in salary, man power, equipment and intelligence. You must remember those days when he proposed cutting the military, CIA and FBI, which brought about enormous debate, only to be dwarfed by John Kerry suggesting even greater cuts."

ANSWER: Please don't forget, it was Sec. of Defense DICK CHENEY who made these proposed cuts during the first Bush administration, at the end of the COLD WAR.

YOU: "You say that you find it strange that we always find a way to blame Clinton, well, HIS record is clear! Eight years of destruction of our military and intelligence agencies does not get corrected in two years of a new administration."

ANSWER: Where's your outrage at Bush 41? He and Dick Cheney got the ball rolling. And is it CLinton's fault now that recruitment is down 40% in 2004? I'm sure you can figure out a way to blame Clinton for that, as well.

YOU: "I still say that you are looking for the negative, any way to blame Bush! Get positive and instead of pointing a finger of blame, offer a hand of help!"

ANSWER: Where was that attitude from the conservatives when your puppets weren't in the White House?
