 but I have been building them since 1991. First PC I build was an AMD 383DX40 with 16MB RAM, 203MB HD, 1MB ATI Video Card, and an ORIGINAL Sound Blaster. THis was in the days before VESA Local Bus. I can help you out if you want. Like Kaillus said, alot of what you can get and afford for 1K depends on what you have that an be salvaged from your old computer. You will not get top of the line for 1K but you can get something that will play AC2 and will last you a while. Just let me know man!
