I am writing this message from the living room of your lair! I got bored the other day and you know how it is with bored duckies, they never leave well enough alone. So took out my trusty tool kit consisting of a dust mop that looked like it had been somehow violated in an unseemly manner perhaps years ago and proceeded to dust off my 2 or perhaps 3 remaining functional brains cells and after much contemplation which as usual caused repeated short circuits endangering the very power structure of the Cosmos , I with my usual lack of wisdom decided that the Lair should be linked to a message board either this one, or a new one or if you wish we can see if there are any fire sales on 'used boards'
For demonstration purposes only I gave birth to another of the ducks infamous navigational buttons and installed it. Would you believe that after only 2,547 attempts it became functional?
If you like the idea we shall keep it - if you don't we shall not -- however I must insist that if the site is linked to the board as an integral part then some setting changes should be made on the board primarily it's appearance especially the background which should be the same as that which is used throughout the site. Continuity in appearance is appropriate and desirable and necessary not because there is a rule somewhere but because the duck said so.
Therefore if you think we should continue with this linkage - let me know and I will provide instructions that will either change the appearance of the message board to blend with the site or possibly during the first 50 to 100 attempts will send it way past Uranus and possibly having it orbiting Europa for a century or two - No worry though I'm sure it can hold hands with HAL as it merrily dances around the moon.
