She trots through the forest surrounding Howling Haven. Cardinals and jays twitter and jeer at her from trees that are just beginning to change their color. A few yellow leaves decorated the ground here and there, but the chill in the air promises a change to come. Misty comes upon the stream that feeds into the meadow. The water is unusually cold. As she glances down at the clear swiftly moving water, she thought she caught a glimpse of the distorted reflection of an old wolfess. Ignoring the image and crossing to the other side, she scouts for newcomers.
