 Misty stops to rest. Lying down, forepaws spread out in front of her, she looks at the life about her. Amused, Misty watches a squirrel scamper down a darkwood tree with a walnut the size of its head tightly clamped in its teeth. The squirrel hops about on the leaf-covered ground, red tail twitching in watchfulness. Finding a suitable spot, it begins to dig furiously, then drops in the walnut and buries it. Misty softly laughs, and rests her head on her paws. The small rodent is startled and leaps back up the tree flicking its bushy tail and chattering angrily from a low branch.
