Subject: 35' performance?

Looking to rebuild a 35' sea skiff. Hull is OK, cabin gone. My question is about performance, hull weight, etc. I have no experience with this hull design and am trying to size up engines for 25+ knot cruise. I'll go with dual diesel, Volvo or Cummins probably.

ANY experience or stories about how heavy the 35' boats are (wet), how fast/horsepower, or how much fuel at speed would be very helpful.

If you currently own and operate a 35', I'd be grateful if you'd contact me. Jim mailbox1ATcvalaskaDOTnet (that is mailboxONE (1) in case font does not read well)

Please put something chris craft in the subject so it does not go to spam.

Thanks so much,
Jim
