Subject: 23' Sea Skiff Window Gaskets

I have a 1960 23 ft Sea Skiff that is the best boat I've ever owned. Doing a little restoration work, and would like to replace the window gaskets (they hold the glass in the frame) for the windshield and side windows. Does anyone know of a source for the gaskets, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Rob
I just happened to see your question about windshield gasket. I own a 1962 23'Sea Skiff. I was not aware that Chris Craft made a 23' Sea Skiff in 1960, it is not in the book. 1962 was the first year Sea Skiffs came out with aluminum framed windows. Either way the gasket can be got hold of, I agree with you, the 23'is probably the most versatile boat out there.
We have a wood boat restoration shop in Milwaukee. Feel free to give me a call.

I also need window gasket. This for a chris craft 281. Chris Craft doesn't sell it and Chrisparts sent me some but it was about 2X to big and didn't fit.

I saw in your repsponse it could be got. Where can it be got.
