I am in full agreement with Robin and would like to ask, on the above, why there should be a difference between smaller and bigger unis as concerns the opposite discipline opens? I don't think being at Oxford/Cambridge/anywhere else with a big team necessarily means that an A-Jiver would be amazing at foxtrot. Surely noone thinks that, especially at the beginning of the year (Oxford Team have their first lessons at the earliest on Friday night this week), by Warwick, the new Oxford A Team will all be brill at their opposite discipline open dance (especially if it's not even a team dance).

This rule isn't gonna affect me personally, if i may add, as I'll not be A-Jive/Cha/anything, so I am actually trying to make a general point and not bend any rules.

There shouldn't be any discussion about smaller or bigger unis here, but the committee responsible should fix a rule and write it down for people to adhere to that rather than guess what things mean.
