Please can we have some clarification on the costume rules for basic and open comps at Warwick. The rules on the Warwick web-site say:

"Please note that latin trousers, practice skirts and team competition dress may only be worn by dancers competing in the basic category or above during the day. If any beginners are seen wearing latin trousers, practice skirts or team competition dress during the day, they will automatically be disqualified."

It does not say anything about the restrictions placed on what non-beginners can wear in the opens. My understanding from the IVDA meeting was that in the opens and basics you are not permitted any stones/sequins/sparkles/reflective or holographic material on your opens outfits. (Which is slightly different to the IVDA definition of non competitive dress).

Please can you clarify. Thanks.
