The concept of having 2dacne rouunds but still a 5dance final surely defeats the point of making the competition less intimidating. So if an ex couple was to enter having worked on 2 dances, (with the same enthusiasm as a student couple would in another section) they would not be able to make the final if they couldnt put the other 3 doutines together? It seems a bit of a contradiction...

btw I know this is not the time to moan if a motion has been passed and I havent commented before... BUT Ill say this anyway... is there any good reason that there cant be a basic and advanced section in the ex-comp? Do other uni's have many ex couples (or part ex couples)? We have 4 or 5, and would have more if there was a basic section for them to enter....
