Different boards have different step restrictions which is why we refer to the BDC rule book I guess. eg: Turning Lock to the Right in Waltz and Double Turn under the Arm in Jive being popular inconsistencies I remember. Can someone with a BDC rule book look it up and confirm what the generally accepted basic steps we allow are refered to as in the BDC rulebook.
