I think something has gone wrong... there used to be a constitution somewhere that had both SUDA and IVDA dances in it...

but generally the rule seems to be that the 3rd dance at SUDA is the dance not danced at all at IVDA, and the 4th dance at SUDA is the same as the 4th dance at IVDA.

so if IVDA is WQT, WQTV
SUDA should be WQF, WQFV

Thus ensuring that each of the 3 non-team dances is danced in two events (either in the int. and adv. at one of SUDA/IVDA or in the Adv. at both)

I'm not sure this was the intention, but it looks like it...

Anyway, I believe the past 4 SUDC intermediates were:
2000: T (ivda V)
2001: F (ivda T)
2002: V (ivda F)
2003: ?F? (ivda V)
2004: ? (ivda T)

I reckon that in fact SUDA 2003 *should* have been T, and 2004 should be F. (And V as the 4th dance at both SUDA and IVDA).

Of course it doesn't really matter, but it's probably good to get back into some form of sensible rotation, rather than having the same dance at SUDA and IVDA.

Robin
