Thank you for your comment on the meeting, it was not meant as a criticism of the chairing, but without seperate votes, or minutes I am unable to judge the mood of that meeting. Despite asking for those minutes frequently, they have not been released, and I still do not know whether this discussion was had as a seperate one - and given that the whole proposal was taken as one and I stongly support the other 47 amendments that Ali proposes, I might have voted for this one (no point throwing the baby out with the bathwater - the bathwater might even be clean!)

I do not propose to answer the questions posed, they have been answered at length before, and Ali and I disagree. It aids no-one for us to continue making bald statements of the "merits/disadvantages" of the others proposals.
