As I said in my last message, I understand that EADA has exercised its discretion in respect of the teaching rule and introduced a scheme under which amateurs may teach under the supervision of a professional. I *think* that Darren and Lilia were teaching under such a scheme whilst amateurs (they were certainly members of EADA). However, I don't know the details.

At the end of the day, it's up to the governing bodies how strictly they apply the rules and what discretion they exercise. All that an amateur actually needs is the advance and express permission of their governing body. So even if I'm wrong about the EADA scheme, D & L must have been teaching with the permission of EADA.
