Lol! Well you can see it like that if you want! We would happily do Rock and Roll (but people who saw me do that at manchester may force me to wear a bin liner over my clothes), but another society on campus do that so we are not tecnically allowed (although we used to so its a bit of a minefield!) As for offbeat, we wanted to but I did not have time to choreograph more than a minute, and so we tried to learn an indian dance from a society on campus, but did not have time to practice it as we argue for all the rooms. So in the end we gave up, but we would still do it! (And again there is a seperate street dance soc, so we would cause arguments...)

We are not saying they have no place, just perhaps that they have enough of a place at the moment, and we should not let it get out of hand. Perhaps you can create a subcommitee to review this, and see how we can fit in an extra comp for the enthusiasts, and all the extra dancers, although you would need a name!
