James - although you're right, uni comps don't have to abide by E/S/WADA rules, I know I'm concerned that if I help at a class (uni or otherwise) will I be disqualified from open comps?

And the argument that everyone does it is not sufficient because dancing's very important to me and to make a mistake now that would prevent me competing for the next 20+(I hope) years would be disasterous.

I don't care about the rest of the politics right now, I just want to know what will happen to me if I fail to abide by the rules?
