Thats just ridiculous. If you expect to make the semi in Intermediate, then you must be INTERMEDIATE!!! Surely that makes sense? Just because someone wins at Sheffield in Intermediate, why should they be automatically excluded from the Intermediate section at IVDA or N/Suda? Someone has to win all the events, why on earth should they be penalised for doing so?

No one would ever ask Tris not to enter IVDA cos he won a lot a Sheffield, similarly with George from Oxford, so why should a year's hard work at intermediate level be penalised if a couple actually wins at one comp, by being forced to dance up at the next level, doing more dances, finding adv dress etc.

As i have said before, SOMEONE has to win each level, and once they have won an event, why should they then be forced out of the next one.....?
