I have started working on encouraging some unis, but I think part of the problem is that alot of them have not seen, or been to a comp. What I want to do, is more actively encourage them, by taking some people to their unis, and actually do demos, answer questions, and just generally take a more friendly approach. Then the ones that i have not got to comps yet, would find it easier. Realise this may be a bit hard to do, as people would have to travel etc, but I really think it would work better. Would I have any volunteers? I would need some beginners as well as some more advanced people. Any other ideas also appreciated!
