It's a nice idea in principle, but there is enormous chance of public humiliation! You dance up to Advanced, get knocked out in the first round. You then get knocked out of the round of Int that you get put into. Then everyone goes around saying "what were they doing in Advanced they couldn't even make the Int semi final" (or the competitors say that to themselves). Then they never dance up again.

This is not so far fetched. I certainly wouldn't want to be in this position! Particularly if not everyone in Int dances up, so that people who do aren't even the best Ints - just the bravest! It is hard enough going up a level knowing that you may not make a final without worrying about what will happen if you don't do well in the lower level as well!
