Yes, yes, yes, yes! Until it affected me I didn't realise how stupidly annoying it can be having to dance advanced because you're routinely coming last in mixed team finals and then only getting to do two dances. Add to that the fact that some of your thoroughly practised routines never see the light of day it it's depressing to say the least! If you look at this year it's the same group of about six couples going out in the first round of advanced every time and the temptation is strong to enter intermediate on that basis. I'd happily bring an extra opens costume if I knew that whatever happened I'd get to dance twice. It really isn't that much extra kit compared to what you have to haul to a comp anyway!
