2.8 The Team Match

2.1.4.x -> 2.8.1.x
2.8.1.4 At least...

2.8.1.5 In the event that a member society has a team which does not include advanced or intermediate dancers, then they may apply to the standing committee for permission to enter that team at a lower level than would ordinarily be the case - subject to the following conditions: - A team consisting entirely of beginners may enter the D team match or higher, A team of novice dancers must enter C team match or above.

Optional additions

2.8.1.6

Points gained by teams exercising 2.8.1.5 may not count towards overall university scores.

2.8.1.7

If captains from three or more other universities object to a team exercising 2.8.1.5 then the team shall not be allowed to dance in the lower event.

2.8.1.9 That teams be marked as a group (al a 4 dance or individually (This can be treated as a seperate issue as far as I am concerned.)

2.8.1.9.1 (if you go for team marking)
It shall be the responsibility of the host university to encourage incomplete teams to amalgramate....
