Subject: Time

This is something I did on another forum in october . I thought it may provide an entertaining view of time.

What is time ? This questain can keep me occupied while sitting by a fire outside on a stary cool night for hours.

We know time exist , but we can't touch it , nor can we see it.
It has no smell or taste ,it's niether hot nor cold.It has no sound.

Is Time real ? Or is it some type of illusionary maze that our conscious mind has become traped in ?

It seems easy to take Time for granted, I have a clock and calander.I can plan on being in some specific place at a chosen day and Time in the Future and can be at that place at the day and Time I choose to be there ..It's funny that you can't choose a day and Time in the Past , and be able to be there .

So that kind of shows that Time seems to flow one way according to the senses we use to sense our surroundings, including Time , taste ,smell , touch , sight ,hear.
Maybe the limited amount of senses we have , limits our abilities to see time go any other way except foward.

And if it's refered to , Time as moving foward ,cause we can't go back, does this mean Time is a movement ? Are we moving in space , and Time is the by-product of this movement? Is energy being drawn out of our bodies as a source of energy for the movement of us through space..?...Is this why we get , what is called , old age ? It's more like worn out and energy drained than old.Time is old.

Time amazes me because time can seem to move so slow and other times so fast .
But now matter how much Time has past or how much future there is left ,we can only be in the bubble of Time we call , The present , at any one living moment.

Funny thing about the Present .It's a strange place in Time......Because as soon as you can realize your in the Present , the moment has changed making the Present that was , now just the Past .So the Present moment of Time becomes a slippery catch to hold on to.

So is Time , the said to be measurement of the distance between 2 events in life that happened , that were at one Time , a Present event and now are the Past ?
To even be used to measure the distance between the Present to the Future , that hasn't happened yet?

Are we stuck in Time , like drift wood caught in an ocean current ? Helplessing going with the flow without control , from event, ,to event . Going through moments of the Present that happen as fast as the click of a camera .

Where does Time go ?

I didnīt have much time lately, so I didnīt read all the other subjects below. So I have no idea if there was something like an introduction of the people here. I am from Germany, so please have mercy with my English!*g*

The subject of time has always been interesting for me. I started thinking about when I was very young. Time is something so mysterious, untouchable, beyond thinking.

I am a Reiki Master, and I learned how to put energy into something, totally out of a time frame, meaning to past events as well as to future ones. The strange thing is, if I do this for a past event, I can really change the energy of the situation afterwards. The event itself cannot get influenced, but it can receive healing. A that way healed situation does then "feel" different for the involved people.

A future event can get filled up with energy, so that it will feel "good" when it happens. Its not that it will direct the outcome in one way or another, but it calms things down, makes them happening in a more comfortable way. Hard to describe!*g*

So how is that possible if time is linear? WHERE is time, if I am able to send energy to the past, or the future. Where exactly do I send it to?

I have spend hours and hours thinking of the time-concept everybody believes in. To me it makes no sense.
