And I look forward to that!
For the benefit of those reading along - the difference you referred to in our interpretatsions of the "validity" of Scripture is one I would consider a small theological point, and it's certainly one under debate by scholars for many centuries. I too, though, would consider the divine importance of Scripture well ahead of other media like music, etc. and that the Word is, in fact inerrant, and not at all marginalized by little Human trip-ups, Writers that weren't particularly concerned with nailing down each and every painful detail of historical accuracy as they were with spreading the Good News. I should have made that clear as well, and I'm glad you brought up the point.
But that said...I then thought, this is Jung On Cue. We get to the heart of the matter here. So, I decided to settle the debate once and for all, and I got ahold of God. "God," I said. "Tom and I were wondering..." and God said "I know, Jung. And Because I'm feeling a little saucy, I'm going to go on record on Jung On Cue and settle this issue once and for all. Get ready to write this down. Okay, so here's the deal with that...wait, hang on a minute, will you?"
(Joyful Chorus of Angels and Trumpets Hold Music)
"Jung, you there?"
"Yes, God!" I said.
"Listen, I've got Michael Jackson on another line and I REALLY need to take this. I'll get back to you guys on that other thing. Peace Out."
