The teachers who get paid alot are those you have been teaching for years, and went to school for a Master's...which comes out of your own pocket. My checks are squat complared to them. The QEO limits pay raises to certain percent, which is fine, but it gets figured into the benfits also. So when health insurance goes up, many districts just aren't having their salaries frozen, they are getting reduced so insurance can be paid for. Benefits aren't universal for all of Wisconsin school districts, every district has it's perks...or lack thereof.

In larger metropolitan areas, it may be easier to find a summer job....not around here...and who's gonna hire someone for three months, unless it's during the holidays?
