 You make valid points Potter. It's hard to say whether the Iraqi phase of the War on Terror was the best move. However, in the overall War, alot more than 700 Americans (plus the 3000 that died in the initial attack) were going to give their lives. The battlefield is going to be somewhere as long as Al Queda and other Islamic fascists are out to destroy the American way of life. Be it this current crop of terrorists or the Communists or Nazis before them, there are always going to be those who want destroy this free nation, and the armed forces have to be ready to defend it. In this case, the Hussein regime is removed, and world is better of for it. Now, what happens now is another matter...
