I have relatives all over the state (Globe, Winkleman, Mesa, Phoenix, and Cottonwood), in Texas, Arkansas, California and Washington state to name most of them. I visit Globe at least once a year, usually over the Easter weekend. It is sort of an unofficial family reunion for my family. Getting close to being able to retire from civil service (doesn't seem possible!) I visited the twin cities in November and spent time with Ernie Castellanos, Rod Babich, Fernando Navarro, Mike Termaine and a few others. Globe is still a good place to boogie and hit it hard.
