 The man screams as the blade burns him from within...distracting Alex from the other man, who raises his shiled and slams into Alex from behind, knocking him into the wall and causing him to lose his grip on the heat blade. As the man, still screaming, falls to the ground with Alex's blade stuck in his chest, the other one lunges at the now-disarmed Alex with his own sword...
