 The sword watches as Edward was replaced by the Moogle. It twirled once, end-over-end, as if in anticipation--then launched itself at it's new target, point first.

Meanwhile, Deil waited until the last possible moment, then jumped to the right to dodge--though he was still knocked over, the flames searing him as Ifrit whipped past. Badly burned, but with the Regen already going to work, he cast the second spell: Wall. A whitish glow surrounded him, Frieza, and Alex as the spell--which haved the effect of any phyical or magical attacks--took effect.

Deil picked himself up and glared at Victor, ready to send the impudent youngster to his eternal reward--but first, he had one last spell to cast on the trio...
