] Date Posted: 19:47:34 02/16/02 Sat Hello one and all! I'm new here to THE FLY website and I thought that I'd tell you how much I really enjoy it! It is nice to find a site in which others are interested in one of my favorite series of films! I first became aware of The Fly when I was a young child in which I had a monster coloring book where they had a page devoted to the character. From then on I was hooked! Growing up I'd finally seen (like I'm sure many of you had) the fly series of films on TV, and then came the movies of the 80's! To be honest, I saw a picture of Brundlefly on the cover of a starlog magazine before I saw the film... and at the time I was a bit dissapointed. I thought this looks nothing like a fly! Little did I know what David Cronenburg had in store for me. I was completely blown away by his film and Brundlefly quickly became one of my favorite movie monsters!Anyways, that's more than I'm sure you ever wanted to know about me. I have been fortunate to meet Chris Walas a couple of times and have taken a photo or two of some of the props he has brought along to conventions.
