I have a couple of calls by different makers which are quality calls, but on each of the calls only one side runs smooth and clear. To get the other side to run I have to really LEAN ON IT. I have adjusted the hinge screw up and down. I have changed the springs and even eliminated the springs. I have LIGHTLY sanded the tops of the sidewalls and the paddle. I have steelwooled the tops of the sidewalls and the paddle. Chalk makes no difference. Can anyone help?
