Subject: Cat wrangling suggestions solicited

My wife has become convinced that Walter the FIV+ cat is a false positive, since he has lived with us for about five years and he was not supposed to last six months.

SO, she took him to the vet today to get him fixed. While he was under, the vet found an absessed tooth and removed it. It had an infection, and infections are very dangerous to an FIV+ cat, if he is. He's been tested twice and both were positive.

Anyway, Walter is home.

The vet said he had to take it easy.

However, he has to get two antibiotic pills a day and that means two goddam wrestling matches.

The vet said don't eat hard food.

As far as this cat is concerned, the only food that exists in the world is Friskies Dental Diet. I get him primo wet cat food and he won't touch it. He won't eat fish, chicken, beef. He won't eat anything but Friskies Dental Diet.
