When Isabel came inland and through Ohio, it put 4 - 5 inches of rain down overnight. Fortunately, it was slow enough coming down that we didn't get flooded. Some pretty high winds late that night and in the day as it passed by and went north, but nothing I'd call ultra-severe.

We're really good at power outages over here. We practice having them every chance we get. That way, when the power really goes out, we'll be able to have a power outage, because of the power outage we had just the day before being such a good preparation excercise and all.(Just to show how dedicated we are to that, they've already used 2 snow days for the school because of power outs and it's not even October!) You'd think we'd save them for the important occaisions though, like hurricanes and blizzards, but nooooo, we have to have cranes knock down power poles in the next county, blowing our power-outage ration for the week, so we don't get to have a really GOOT and EFFECTIVE one during a hurricane coming through.....

Bummer.

Hope K & B are doing okay...maybe they ran out of batteries.
