that's an explanation I never would have guessed (especially since not all face paintings were colorful and I wouldn't be surprised to find some didn't paint at all).

yes, a positive stereotype is no more constructive than a negative one. I just think the positive ones are easier to take.

Last weekend we had +26°C/79°F, wore

about a week ago it turned into fall days in the mid sixties and nights in the low fourties...I am NOT ready for winter 80)
