Netta: They don't hibernate, but crawl under the duvet and sleep and sleep and sleep. In the winter, they cuddle up to me and keep me warm.

That sounds sweet; a thing I could never even think of letting happen. But as a child, before my allergy got real bad, I used to know a horse that liked to be hugged, so I'm a former horse hugger. If the horse was lying down, it would allow me to sit down and lean against it. Also warm and nice.

John m.: I think it's a bit more than instinct because I've had cats that bulk up and those who don't. not unlike people 80)

...active in a different way compared to others when it comes to food and don't get too fat. Also not unlike people :o)
