What a lousy week.

The latest is that I went over to Indianz to post the awful news of Lee Francis' death as soon as I found out....and somebody had posted my "too many kids" remark from here over there.

No place to hide I guess.

Anyways, the obit is over there. I last saw him this winter. He came by to see me and I did my best to talk him into staying the night because he's night blind, but he insisted he had to get to Washington to get some kind of grant for Indian writers moving.

I'm gonna miss his chain-smoking Laguna ass. And I sure wish he had stayed that night so I would have even more stories...

With the privacy gone here, I don't expect I'll be around much, so thanks to all for the company while it lasted.
