I'm with Kangi...I think it's the nature of the medium and dealing even indirectly with a topic like race can be pretty explosive.

I've watched the rise and fall...and evolution...of a number of message boards and one thing I'd predict is that it's almost the fate of an unmoderated place to either self destruct or become milquetoast over time. Right now we're missing a someqhat moderating factor since new folks aren't coming in and adding what they have to the mix.

I hope it will pass too, but not having 'the answer' on how to correct it, I'll just continue hoping I don't make it any worse. 80)
