Rush hour in Los Angeles!! I had my test in a quiet country town, and that was unnerving enough. Your dad must have had great confidence in your driving and ability to keep cool under pressure!

When I passed, I was told after parking the car, immediately (of course this was some time ago, before they developed the postal system). I literally couldn't believe he'd said I passed so asked him to repeat it:)
