although i feel lousey i still would like to tell about my test in '50. the exam. told me to just drive like i normally do. me being a 17yr old, took that to heart! rolling stops, slight speeding and i missed that train by 10 ft! had my arm propped on the window, using my spinner on the steeringwheel.
3 blocks from the station he said "let me OUT!" i told him i was going by the starting point anyway. (i thought i'd blew the test) he said "NO! i've seen ENOUGH! i'll WALK! here's your permit to drive. if you can drive like THAT, you're ok!" :)
